4 pt insurance inspection

  1.  Roofing - Estimated remaining life, condition, type & damage.
  2. Electrical - Electrical panel is inspected for brand, wiring types & hazards.
  3. Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) - Visually inspected to determine the age & the condition of the system. Also inspected for hazards.
  4. Plumbing - The plumbing under sinks visually checked for signs of leaks, material & to estimate the age. The water heater is inspected for age, leaks, & hazards.

Wind Mitigation


To determine the appropriateness of a given structure's construction in the event of strong winds, such as those present in a hurricane.


A homeowner with windstorm insurance can often submit the results of a windstorm inspection to their insurer to obtain discounts on their windstorm insurance. In Florida, for example, premium discounts for certain favorable wind mitigation features are mandated by State law & can total 45% of the original policy's premium.
